Plum explosion: Dad and son among five killed in house blast caught on Ring camera

A dad and his young son were among the five people killed in a house explosion, it has emerged.

Casey Clontz, 38 and Keegan Clontz, 12, tragically died on the morning of Saturday, August 12, when a massive explosion in Plum, a town in western Pennsylvania destroyed three structures and damaged at least a dozen others.

The blast was captured by a Rind doorbell camera nearby. A video showed the horrific moment the blast sent debris flying into the air as the surrounding buildings were completely destroyed.

Plum Borough Police Chief Lanny Conley said previously that the bodies of four adults and one child were recovered after the blast shortly before 10.30am on Saturday in the borough, about 20 miles (32 kilometres) east of Pittsburgh.
