Former Family Feud contestant Timothy Bliefnick, who had mocked his marriage on TV, has been sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of his wife
A former Family Feud contestant has been sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of his estranged wife.
The judge handed down the sentence to Timothy Bliefnick after he was found guilty in May of breaking into his ex-wife Rebecca “Becky” Postle Bliefnick’s home and shooting her 14 times on February 23.
The 41-year-old’s father found her dead on the bathroom floor after she failed to turn up to pick up her children from school in Quincy, a small city in western Illinois.
Prosecutors revealed that Bliefnick had meticulously planned the murder, going so far as to research techniques on Google, including how to forcibly open a window with a crowbar and the response time of the police.
