Ryanair charges elderly couple £110 after mistake with boarding passes

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

An elderly couple are ‘furious’ after Ryanair charged them £110 to print their boarding passes when they downloaded their return ones by mistake.

Ruth Jaffe, 79, and her husband Peter, 80, were flying from London Stansted to Bergerac in France when they accidentally downloaded the wrong passes.

The couple, from Ealing in west London, were due to be flying with the budget airline last Friday and said they had checked in for their flight online the day before.

Retired GP Ruth said she had already paid £22 for seats so her and her husband, who is disabled, could sit together.
