Demi Moore ‘eyed by Sinead O’Connor for biopic just weeks before singer’s death’

Sinead O’Connor had a few projects in the works before her passing, including an album and a biopic and it’s said that actress Demi Moore had been lined up to take on the role of the singer

A biopic based on the life of Sinéad O’Connor was reportedly in the works just weeks before the singer sadly passed away. And it’s said none other than Demi Moore was being scouted to play the role of late star.

Apparently, it was Sinéad herself who was interested in having Demi step into the role and was keen to discuss a potential venture with the actress.

“Sinéad was keen to explore making her memoir into her film and she had a raft of ideas about how it would look on screen, a source said. “She had a huge amount of respect for Demi and thought Niamh was a real rising star after she saw her in her TV series The Virtues. Sinéad, too, thought Saoirse was fierce and loved her from her film Brooklyn in 2015 when she played an Irish migrant,” they continued.
