The German chancellor and his ministers were to be handcuffed and paraded on national television to win public support after last year’s planned far-right coup, according to government sources.
A group of 16 armed extremists conspired to storm the Reichstag parliament during a full sitting of the parliament on December 8, arresting and handcuffing Olaf Scholz and other members of his government. A new ruling “Council” of the self-styled Patriotic Union of Reich Citizens, led by the aristocrat Heinrich XIII Prince Reuss, it is said, would then address the nation while parading Scholz as a prisoner.
