Emergency responders found a man covered in blood with a number of stab wounds when they arrived at the Seasons 5 resort in Melbourne, Australia
A man has been found dead following a stabbing at a spa in Point Cook, Australia.
Police and paramedics raced to the Seasons 5 resort in Melbourne where they found a man- thought to be in his 30s – covered in blood with a number of stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of the emergency responders, they were unable to save his life and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the pair had been in a fight before the suspect fled in a car – with police following closely behind him. As he raced from the scene of the heinous crime, he is said to have crashed into a number of parked cars before he was hauled out and arrested. According to the Herald Sun, his trousers were covered with bloodstains as police held him to the ground close to the scene.
However, testimonies do differ as some said after the man crashed the vehicle, he tried to get into another vehicle before the arrest took place. Speaking with local outlet 10News, one witness said: “He smacked into three cars and tried to get into another car to get away (from police) and then he ran down here and tried to jump in the water but they (the police got him just in time).” Another said: “It was like a movie.”
