In a game of brinkmanship between PSG and Mbappe, the player reportedly suggested that he would be willing to sit out of the entire season rather than move clubs, should he continue to be left out of the first team picture. Mbappe was omitted from PSG's squad for their summer tour of Asia as the French side tried to find a buyer. Liverpool and Chelsea were both linked with a move - but could not get close to agreeing a deal. Mbappe may now return to action in next Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Toulouse.
