Chelsea are aiming to get off to a swift start under the management of Mauricio Pochettino but Roy Keane has pointed to familiar problems that appeared to strike his former side Manchester United
Roy Keane has torn into the Chelsea squad for their “disgraceful” attitude ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s first game in charge.
The Argentine was installed as the Blues’ new manager after a shocking 2022/23 campaign. Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard were all at the helm at one point but those decisions did nothing to get Chelsea back on track.
The London side endured their worst-ever Premier League season as they finished 12th. Pochettino was the man tasked with getting them back on track, whilst a huge overhaul of the squad has been ongoing this summer.
In assessing how they will get on, Manchester United icon Keane has claimed that the new Chelsea boss needs to improve the club’s mentality if they are to have any form of success this season.
