The goalkeeper hit back at reports that he had refused to be a part of the squad on Twitter by replying to the club's starting XI and writing: "Where is my name? Hodgson said : "He's been refusing to play in our games so far but the complication is that he has a year's contract so it's up to the club to decide really. Not him.'' Guaita has made 150 appearances for Palace and signed a one year contract extension in January under former manager Patrick Vieira. But Hodgson has not favoured the Spaniard since taking over in March, leading to speculation he would leave the club this summer. Hodgson said he is looking for a quick resolution to the situation and said: "It's up to the club now," "The fact is that any player can do that, it's not difficult and I'm certain that there are many clubs around the world with players who would rather leave than stay" "'I can't physically make Guaita play, but at the same time it's not certain that his refusal to play means they'll have to let him go."
