The post – supposedly from a representative – called her death a “sudden and tragic passing” and an “unbearable loss”. The statement appeared to confirm the 15-year-old’s death as it read: “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.”

Shocked fans were left devastated by the news before her real family stepped in and confirmed that the star was very much alive and had not passed away at all.
