 Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has taken to Instagram to show off her stunning hair transformation. The Maria Connor star has swapped her light brown shoulder length style for a much darker look, which she debuted in a selfie posted to her Stories. 'Back to brunette,' she wrote in the caption, before thanking her hairdresser and claiming that the style was 'just what she wanted'. Her new look comes just after she celebrated winning ITV reality show Cooking With The Stars. Pictures she posted holding her golden frying pan trophy were well received by fans and Corrie co-stars alike, who all rushed to the comments to share their congratulations. 'Congratulations, darling!! Can't wait for dinner round at yours,' Toyah Battersby star Georgia Taylor wrote, adding a winking face. 'Oh my goodness congratulations, that's incredible news,' wrote Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, 'bagsy coming to yours for a dinner party.' 'Well done Samia,' Kirk Sutherland star Andy Whyment added, while Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner said: 'Yay! Amazing news.' Meanwhile, Samia's Corrie character is set to lend Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) a helping hand in upcoming episodes, when she faces a dilemma. Glenda is left horrified when she can't use the community centre for her Little Big Shotz Summer Spectacular, and turns to Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) for help finding a new venue. When daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) overhears, she suggests turning to Maria for help, seeing as she is the local councillor. Maria is keen to lend a hand, and suggests that Glenda host her show at the Bistro, and thrilled Glenda thinks it's a great idea.
