The club have already lost captain Declan Rice during the transfer window as he joined Arsenal for £105m. Hammers boss David Moyes was asked about Man City's interest in Paqueta during his press conference ahead of the Premier League season kick off. Moyes admitted that there had been an offer but it was "not anywhere near" the club's price tag. He said: "We've had an offer from Manchester City, but at the moment, it's not anywhere near meeting our valuation." It is believed that Paqueta is keen on a move to the Etihad despite only arriving at the London Stadium last summer from Lyon.
