I just thank the good lord for keeping me" Her daughter, Dorothy Williams, said people assume she's lying when she says her mother is 114 years old. Elizabeth's granddaughter, Ethel Harrison, attributes her grandmother's longevity to her lifestyle. Elizabeth told ABC13 that she has never smoked, drank alcohol or eaten a vegetable that wasn't grown in her own backyard. Ethel said: Whenever you went to her house, I don't care what day of the week, she was cooking. So I just think that had a lot to do with it too. Just how she took care of her body and things like that." Ethel said she's grateful to her grandmother for passing down wisdom from her "incredible life." She said Elizabeth's generosity has passed on through the five generations she fostered.
