UK mansions seized from Uzbekistan dictator’s pop star daughter

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A dictator’s daughter has had three properties worth more than £23 million confiscated by fraud investigators.

Gulnara Karimova, whose dad Islam Karimov ruled Uzbekistan from 1989 until his death in 2016, used ‘dirty money’ to purchase two Belgravia flats and a mansion in Surrey.

It is alleged these were bought with bribes she received in exchange for access to telecommunications companies in the Central Asian country.

The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) confirmed it has taken control of the properties as part of a case dating back from 2017.
