 Ahead of the long-awaited Jeopardy! reboot, audiences have been given a sneak peek at Stephen Fry on set as he gets ready to host the game show. Originally airing all the way back in 1983, there have been four versions of the series, with the last wrapping up in 1996. Earlier this year ITV announced they would be bringing it back and revealed Stephen, 65, would be fronting the revival. Now the broadcaster has released two first-look images of Stephen on set, and if his expressions are anything to go by, he looks ready to make the contestants work to win the prize money. Despite it being nearly 30 years since being on screen, the set design looks pretty similar to what fans are used to, with the channel not straying from the iconic game show's notable title font. It's also been revealed that the new episodes will kick off in October. He will host the game show when it returns later this year (Picture: Whisper North/ Rachel Joseph) The reboot is set to air during the daytime and will consist of 20 sixty-minute episodes. The new show will also allow participants to play an extra round compared to the original format. When he was revealed as the new host, following in the footsteps of Derek Hobson, Chris Donat, Steve Jones and Paul Ross, Stephen revealed he was a long-time fan of the show. 'In the United States, Jeopardy! is a phenomenon like no other. Whenever I'm in America, I do my damnedest to catch it every weekday,' he said. The former Q.I. host continued: 'The idea of hosting it here in the UK makes me dizzy with delight. 'Such a dedicated quizzing nation as ours will, I hope, welcome this uniquely beguiling and endlessly rewarding game.'
