 A couple's Spanish wedding plans were thrown into disarray when their luggage didn't arrived at Ibiza Airport. Claire and Wesley Hampson, from Glasgow, Scotland, flew 62 guests to Ibiza on July 16, ready for the wedding held on July 19. While friends and family were in the party spirit, unbeknown to them all, their luggage never left Scotland. The 31 guests who flew from Edinburgh had no clothes and toiletries and Wes' 21-year-old brother was left without his diabetes medication. Claire had no veil or accessories, the groomsmen were left without suits and bridesmaids without their dresses. Dad of the groom, Mark Hampson, 57, could not stand seeing the wedding fall apart and took matters into his own hands. He said: 'We landed in Ibiza, went to collect our luggage and low and behold…no bags. The handling desk only had one employee working at the time, the poor girl had 100 odd people to deal with as we were all without our belongings. 'No one could tell us where our bags were. Around three hours had passed and we were still none the wiser so we had no choice than to take the form they provided us with and make our way to the hotel without any belongings or clothes. Mark Hampson, 57, and his partner Arlene Grant were not happy with the ordeal (Picture: Media Scotland) 'We had this trip planned for such a long time, there were 31 guests flying from Edinburgh and another 31 flying from elsewhere to meet us. 'The flight was delayed by around half an hour but that's normal these days so we didn't think twice. But, what they didn't tell us was that they didn't load any of the passengers cases so we weren't made aware of that before we left.' Guests spent the next day racing around supermarkets trying to find clothes to wear instead of going on a planned boat trip.
