Paris Saint-Germain have exiled Kylian Mbappe from first-team training as they look to sell him this summer, but the France international wants to see out his current deal
Kylian Mbappe has told Paris Saint-Germain he will not be sold this summer and he will see out the final year of his contract.
French media have reported the France captain had a stormy meeting with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi this week which failed to break the deadlock. Mbappe has refused sign a new deal despite PSG offering to insert a buyout clause next summer.
And the 2018 World Cup winner has refused to speak to Al Hilal after the Saudi side made a £259m bid and is thought to want to move to Real Madrid next season. Mbappe is frustrated at the failure of PSG to sign Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva last year after he agreed a new deal.
PSG have told Neymar to find another club after the departure of Lionel Messi. But the Ligue 1 champions must now decide whether to exclude Mbappe from Luis Enrique’s first team squad.
