Despite his younger brother Prince Harry living in the States for a few years with his wife Meghan Markle and their children, Prince William topped a popularity poll.
Prince William has been declared America’s favourite public figure in a new poll.
The 41-year-old Prince of Wales beat out his brother Prince Harry, despite the younger royal residing in the States for a few years with his wife Meghan Markle, to nab the honour.
In the survey conducted by polling giant Gallup asked US voters who their favourite fifteen public figures on the world stage were, William reigned supreme, beating the likes of US President Donald Trump and his successor Joe Biden.
Gallup admittedly noted their surprise over the list, with William topping polls with both Republicans and Democrats.
