The spreadsheet includes over 900 names of people missing and found, although most people are marked as ‘Not located’ in an agonising situation. Some of the entries refer to children and babies, too. See the tragic list here
At least 36 people have died and at least 11,000 have been evacuated, officials have confirmed, with the death toll expected to rise as search-and-rescue teams scour charred areas. The fires in Maui and Lahaina ha ve caused widespread devastation, damaging or destroying over 271 structures.
