Tottenham have finally accepted a bid from Bayern Munich for striker Harry Kane but the England captain remains undecided over a move to the Bundesliga champions
Gary Lineker believes Harry Kane will be on his way to Bayern Munich after Spurs accepted a £86.4million bid.
A saga that has dragged on throughout the summer transfer window seemingly came to a conclusion late on Wednesday night, when Daniel Levy accepted Bayern’s fourth offer for Kane. That’s despite it falling slightly short of the £100m fee that Levy and co were reportedly holding out for.
However, despite a move to one of European football”s most powerful clubs being within his grasp, Kane himself is yet to decide on his future. And his apparent hesitancy has left Spurs fans hopeful that he will stay in north London and see out the final 12 months of his contract, leaving himself eligible to leave on a free at the end of the season.
But Match of the Day host Lineker, who himself moved abroad twice during his own illustrious club career, doesn’t believe a bid would have been accepted had Kane not requested a move. And developments have left him in no doubt as to what the England captain will do now.
