FORMER Chelsea star Nathaniel Chalobah has issued an apology following an altercation with fans.
Chalobah, 28, was playing for West Brom as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup first round by Stoke on Tuesday.
With the Baggies 1-0 down going into the break, Chalobah was embroiled in an exchange with fans as he headed into the tunnel.
The midfielder was then booed upon re-entering the pitch, with the score ending 2-1 to Stoke to hand Carlos Corberan’s side their second defeat in four days.
However, Chalobah – big brother of current Blues defender Trevoh – has now taken to Twitter to apologise for his actions.
