Traveller Stephanie Virovec gave up her 9-5 job at a Costco to live on the road in a long-range Tesla with her cat and dog, swapping home comforts for sightseeing around North America
A woman has revealed how she quit the 9-5 grind for a nomad life in her Tesla â along with her two pets.
Stephanie Virovec has spent the past year travelling across North America in her electric car after giving up her flat and job as a retail worker in Costco. The traveller pitches up in car parks and caravan parks across the continent, seeing the sights and enjoying life with rescue cat Finley and two-year-old pup Snow.
Despite being out of work, Stephanie, originally from Canada, has revealed she has been saving $2,000 (£1,572) a month on rent and bills since moving into the 2020 long-range Tesla. The big move came after splitting with her ex-partner, who originally owned the car, and she now documents her travels to share with her followers.
“The relationship, unfortunately, did not work out, and we broke up early last year,” she said. “But my ex was very kind to gift me the Tesla, as a way for me to road trip home to Canada.
