Las Vegas Raiders decide Josh Jacobs replacement after contract holdout

Josh Jacobs has yet to agree to a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL franchise has released its unofficial depth chart which provides a hint on a possible replacement

The Las Vegas Raiders have listed the possible replacement for Josh Jacobs amid his contract situation.

Jacobs was handed the franchise tag by the Raiders earlier in the offseason but has yet to sign a deal. The deadline for an agreement to be reached with the NFL team was on July 17.

Jacobs is not the only running back to have been handed a franchise tag this offseason. The same was applied to Saquon Barkley by the New York Giants, who also did not sign before the deadline but did agree on a one-year deal worth $11 million (£8.6 million).

After the franchise tag deadline passed, Jacobs did not turn up for the first day of mandatory training camp. Due to the 25-year-old not signing his deal, he cannot be fined for not attending practice or games.
