Bayern turn attention to Chelsea star Kepa with first offer ‘coming soon’

First Bayern will look to go after Kepa, with Spanish outlet Relevo claiming an official offer is set to be made in the next few days. The proposal would be a loan with a mandatory option to buy the player. Kepa remains the world’s most expensive goalkeeper after joining Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for £72million in 2018. He has not always been the first-choice, including when Tuchel was head coach at Stamford Bridge. New Chelsea boss Pochettino recently spoke glowingly about Kepa following his performances in pre-season. He said: “We are so happy with him. “He is showing great commitment in adapting to new demands from Toni [Jimenez], from the coaching staff, and the goalkeeping coach, him and Hilario are working. We are so happy with him and he is a fantastic keeper.”
