As always there are several notables candidates to become 2024 inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame including Brandon Marshall, Julius Peppers, Antonio Gates, Haloti Ngata and Jordy Nelson
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is a prestigious institution that honours the greatest players in NFL history.
After the 2023 induction class was officially enshrined, football fans are already looking ahead to the potential candidates for the 2024 class. While there may not be many first-ballot selections in the class of 2024, there are several notable players who have the credentials to earn their place in Canton.
One of the most prominent candidates for the 2024 class is former tight end Antonio Gates, reports the Express US. Gates had a remarkable career with the Los Angeles Chargers, revolutionising the tight end position with his basketball background.
He ranks third among all tight ends in career receptions with 955 and holds the record for touchdown receptions by a tight end with 116. Gates’ impact on the game cannot be overstated, and he is widely regarded as a future Hall of Famer.
