The Untouchables and Natural Born Killers actor Robert Swan dies aged 78

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Robert Swan, an actor who appeared in films including The Untouchables, Natural Born Killers and Hoosiers, has died aged 78.

His death was confirmed by close friend Betty Hoeffner, who said that he died peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his home in Rolling Prairie, Indiana.

Born in Chicago on October 20 1944, Swan was said to have been on the verge of launching a screenplay telling the story of Samuel Johnson, the man who published A Dictionary of the English Language in the 18th century and was given a posthumous diagnosis of Tourette syndrome.

Hoeffner said that a reading of the screenplay will take place at an event called A Celebration of Life, with Golden Globe winner Daniel J Travanti reading the part of the lead role.
