And it might look similar at a glance to the Ebo Air, but it's a far more polished machine. In fact, it kind of takes a different approach to the Ebo Air. While the older version offered more playful features, the Ebo X puts a firm focus on family security and peace of mind. These were evident in the Air, but they're front and centre of the newcomer's ethos. For example, it has a fall detection system, so if you're monitoring a family member from afar, and it thinks it's watched them take a tumble, it will instantly alert you. Clever stuff. It can even let you know if a child or pet has ventured into an excluded part of your house. So imagine your toddler is heading over to the fireplace, or climbing up a chair - the Ebo X's smart camera will spot the danger and let you know. Like the Ebo Air, the Ebo X is shaped like a crash helmet - but that's basically where the similarities stop. It's quite a bit larger, and it runs on two wheels, self-balancing as it goes. There's more ground clearance, which means it's better at climbing over obstacles, and generally just more sure-footed. It also has a more competent 4K camera. And this time it pops up from within. This means you can close it entirely if you want some privacy, of course, but it also means the camera is elevated, giving a better field of view.
