Detectives from Greater Manchester Police have no idea who a woman found dead on the M56 near Manchester Airport last month is after appeals failed to provide any information
A woman who died on the M56 near Manchester Airport is yet to be identified over a week later.
Detectives are appealing to the public for a second time so her family can be contacted. Photos of the various items of jewellery she was wearing have been released in a bid to jog people’s memories.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers were called to the scene near to the Thorley Lane bridge at junction five at around 2.40am on Monday, July 31.
Emergency calls reported a concern for welfare but by the time responders arrived they found a woman had died. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
