The Duke of Sussex arrived at Tokyo airport ahead of his appearance at a charity summit in Japan this week and looked as if he was enjoying the “attention” from fans, according to a body language expert. Harry was spotted at Haneda Airport on Tuesday ready for his appearance at the ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition with his longtime friend Nacho Figueras – an Argentine polo player. Tokyo is the Duke’s first stop on his solo trip in Asia before he heads off to Singapore to play in a charity polo match on Saturday. Wearing an Archewell cap and dark polo shirt, Harry was spotted grinning as he walked through the crowds at the busy airport. Body language expert Judi James suggested that he believes the Duke’s seemingly happy demeanor hinted that he was feeling anxiety – mirroring his late mother, Princess Diana, who also appeared to flip-flop with the emotions. No expression seems able to fix on his face here and he goes from looking relaxed and cheerful to anxious and haunted within a heartbeat. “Harry seems to feed off his close long-term friend Nacho Figueras for his smiles here as he looks at his happiest when the pair chat as they walk along. “Nacho seems to be one catalyst for Harry’s upbeat grins but the other seems to be the adulation of his Japanese fans. His crinkled eye-smile appears genuine but then suddenly it has vanished to be replaced by a more wary, haunted look.” Harry has made a solo trip to Japan for his appearance at a charity event (Image: Getty) The ISPS Sports summit will help promote the importance of sports and raise awareness about special causes. It will be attended by several international representatives. Following the summit, Harry will travel to Singapore to play in the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at Singapore Polo Club on August 12. Since 2010, the polo cup has raised nearly £10.9 million for Sentebale – Harry’s Lesotho-based charity which focuses on helping young people who have been affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS.
