EastEnders family torn apart after Alfie Moon suffers health blow

EastEnders: Freddie Slater calls Little Mo EastEnders’ Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) is set to receive some devastating news after taking a trip to the hospital to check up on his recent pain. Official spoilers reveal that Alfie could be set to leave behind his family and loved ones when he is told some harsh health news. In upcoming scenes, Phil Mitchel (Steve McFadden) turns up at the bookies and asks Alfie to mind Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) and Ernie Moon (Cody Briffett) whilst Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is away visiting Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth). A downbeat Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) arrives for a pep-talk with Alfie and unknowingly lets slip that Tommy revealed the truth about where to find Graham. Later, Tommy and Alfie have a huge row back at No.55 before Tommy heads to the park with Perry. When Phil goes to collect Tommy, he shares some harsh views on Alfie’s parenting, unknowing that chaos is happening at the bookies as Freddie attempts to take control of Ernie. After calming down and letting the pair breathe, Alfie tries to make amends with his son by apologising for being an absent father. But things once again turn sour when he forbids him from seeing Perry, but will they ever be able to mend their relationship? Having learned about the punch, Phil shares that Tommy also lashed out at Kat and the pair decide to take Tommy to the Boxing Den for a fight with a boy his own age. During their intervention, Phil notices that Alfie is still grimacing in pain and demands that he visits the hospital once Tommy has left. Alfie puts off going to the hospital once again and tries to distract himself by providing support to Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). She is currently debating about fighting for custody of Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) and Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) baby. Pushing his check-up off further, Alfie agrees to meet the solicitor with Linda as Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) is quick to rubbish the idea along with George Knight (Colin Salmon). Alfie soon realises that he needs to get himself checked out, and grabs a cab to the hospital, but is spotted by Tommy.
