Man Utd in line for instant ‘£60m transfer windfall’ as Ten Hag eyes three more

Manchester United could soon receive a sizeable transfer package on the table that would help Erik ten Hag seal his final three summer targets, according to reports. West Ham United are lining up a blockbuster double deal to lure two of the Dutchman’s fringe players away from Old Trafford before the deadline. According to The Guardian , West Ham want to follow up their impending capture of Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez by luring Scott McTominay to the London Stadium. And David Moyes also refuses to give up on Harry Maguire after seeing a loan proposal and a follow-up £20million bid rejected by his former employers. The report claims West Ham are attempting to find a solution to Maguire’s wage demands after United’s Champions League qualification boosted his salary package. The Hammers believe a combined offer between £55m and £60m for both McTominay and Maguire would convince United to sanction their exits. Those funds alone would help Ten Hag complete his fourth, fifth and sixth summer signings, with Dean Henderson, Fred, and Donny van de Beek’s departures also expected to raise funds. The Dutchman is reportedly keen on a new midfielder and would want a backup goalkeeper and centre-back to replace Henderson and Maguire. West Ham want Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay. And a deal is said to be possible for just £24m, with Fiorentina acceptant of the 26-year-old’s desire to leave for a new challenge. The Red Devils have also reportedly held talks over OGC Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo as they prepare for Maguire’s potential exit. According to the Manchester Evening News , Ten Hag plans to recruit another goalkeeper to join £47m arrival Andre Onana and Tom Heaton as his options. Erik ten Hag is keen for more signings.
