Man Utd miss out on long-term target to Belgian minnows despite ‘agreeing fee’

JAPANESE goalkeeper Zion Suzuki has sensationally rejected a transfer to Manchester United.

The 20-year-old has been on United’s radar for the last six years.

However, he is set to snub a move to Old Trafford in favour of joining Belgian Pro League side STVV.

According to Manchester Evening News, Man Utd agreed a fee with Urawa Red Diamonds for Suzuki this summer.

Previous reports claimed that it was worth around £5million – the most expensive fee in J-League history.
