Erik ten Hag eyeing two more transfers at Man Utd with Sofyan Amrabat a ‘priority’

Erik ten Hag wants Manchester United to sign two more players before the close of the transfer window with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat highly admired at Old Trafford

Manchester United have not finished their transfer business this summer with Erik ten Hag wanting to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat and a new central defender.

United have already secured the transfers of goalkeeper Andre Onana, striker Rasmus Hojlund and attacking midfielder Mason Mount. Ten Hag is keen to sign a new central defender – with Jean-Clair Todibo of Nice admired – alongside long-standing interest in Amrabat, whom he coached at Utrecht.

The Moroccan international looks set to leave the Serie A outfit this summer with multiple clubs monitoring his situation. Amrabat returned to the club’s training facilities last month but is believed to be desperate to leave Fiorentina.

The design team have delved deep into the Old Trafford archives and found inspiration in the jersey worn during the triumphant FA Cup-winning season of 1908/09. The result is a striking adidas ensemble that effortlessly stands out both on the terraces and on the pitch.
