The 51-year-old, who is no longer on Twitter, previously expressed her opposition on the social media platform to seeing a 12-year-old performing in drag, saying that she 'didn't think it was right' that the youngster was 'doing something very oversexualised'. In her recent video, Amanda stressed that she 'loves' drag and said that she didn't associate the performance by the child with the trans community, amid accusations of transphobia. I'm a firm supporter of the legitimate trans community, I always have been,' she added. The actress later responded to criticism of her use of the term 'legitimate trans' after being called out by a critic, who found fault with the wording for suggesting that trans people should be expected to 'prove' their gender. While some continued to question Amanda in the comment section of her Instagram video, others revealed that they backed her views, including her fiancé Jonathan.
