A star from The Traitors is set to join Hollyoaks in a new role, with her debut airing in just a few days’ time
The Traitors star Maddy Smedley is set to join Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
Maddy rose to popularity starring on the BBC reality show and was quickly suspicious of many of her fellow stars, especially the ones who ended up being Traitors. Following on from her stint in BBC soap EastEnders, Maddy will now be joining the cast of Hollyoaks.
Maddy is set to work alongside Hollyoaks couple Owen Warner and Jemma Donovan, who play Romeo and Rayne. Things have been growing tense on the programme, as Rayne’s sinister side is slowly been revealing itself. She has made enemies with Peri, whilst also criticising and condemning Prince for a crime which he had nothing to do with.
Maddy arrives as Faye Fuller, a talent agent with some tricks up her sleeve. Her arrival causes trouble for the residents, as her judgemental nature doesn’t seem to bode well for Rayne as she tries to help grow her followers with more fireworks.
