We were just going to see each other casually over the weekend so we went to get a massage and then lunch. On this date, we each paid for our own massages and then we had sushi for lunch. "The total of the bill was $40 (£20) and when the waitress asked how we were paying he quickly replied 'We'll split it' but the waitress was struggling to split the bill, and as I could tell she was having a hard time with it so I suggested that we can pay together.
