Chelsea are preparing to make a move for the Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams as they aim to boost Mauricio Pochettino’s squad before the new Premier League season.
Adams is at the top of a list of midfielders Chelsea have been considering signing alongside their priority target, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea are set to bid for the 21-year-old Caicedo again this week after their third offer, of £80 million, was instantly rejected by Brighton last month. Caicedo has told Brighton he wants to leave and is understood to have missed training on Monday in an attempt to force through a move to Stamford Bridge.
