Tuson Fury has made a career out of boxing, and is arguably the finest heavyweight of this or any generation – but even the world heavyweight champion worries when it comes to his kids and fighting
When it comes to following in dad’s footsteps, there are few shoes harder to fill than heavyweight champion of the world.
But rather than dissuading his kids from copying his sporting career, Tyson Fury is actively encouraging sons Prince, Tyson Jr aka Tutty, and Adonis to do so. He’s training them to box, with mixed success, as he’s worried about them being bullied.
“It’s really important because it isn’t going to be easy growing up as Tyson Fury’s son,” he says. “There’s going to be people trying to punch them in the face. All sorts of stuff.” Prince is unimpressed. “Boxing is very dangerous,” he says. “Who can’t say that, where you are being punched in the face?”
In new Netflix nine-parter, At Home With The Furys we get an intimate glimpse of Tyson the father and protector of his rambunctious, mischievous six-strong brood – and since it filmed, there’s now another Fury baby on the way.
