Back in 2001, Angela was a trained dancer with the O'Shea Irish Dance Company. It saw her performing professionally before she became a household name thanks to her TV work. Angela even landed a role as a dancer in a US show. She performed in the Irish Thunder dance show as Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia. The BBC talent show has been known to come under fire from viewers in the past over stars who have had previous dance training. West End star Layton Williams also risks the same thanks to his wealth of performing experience. Her Strictly news was announced on this morning's Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2, which was being fronted by Gaby Roslin. Joking that she was terrible at keeping secrets, Angela, 39, explained: "I've only told 1,700 of my closest friends". She added: "I'm terrified, I'm excited and I have so many questions.
