Charlie Stayt is a journalist and TV presenter known for his role on BBC Breakfast . The presenter began his career at a commercial radio station in his home town of Gloucester. He then worked at several London radio stations including Capital Radio, LBC and BBC Radio 5 Live. In 1995, Charlie began working for ITN before then joining Five News as a reporter. He went on to spend a total of 10 years at ITN as a presenter and a correspondent. Charlie joined BBC Breakfast in 2006 as a relief presenter but it was then confirmed in December 2007 that he would become their Friday to Sunday presenter.
