Some Fire TVs get a blockbuster free upgrade from Amazon

Owners of some Fire TV devices have just been treated to a stunning visual upgrade. Here’s the full of TVs

There’s good news for some owners of Amazon’s new Fire TVs. These clever connected tellies, which were launched by the online retailer earlier this year, have just got a free upgrade which aims to make them far more useful when not being used for a boxset binge or movie marathon.

The update transforms the screen into a giant piece of art so instead of looking at a big black screen, owners are instead treated to something a little more pleasing to the eye. To make things even more exciting, these Dynamic Art collections have been created to evolve depending on the time of day, weather conditions outside and the ambient light in the room. This means the pictures constantly adapt and evolve making it a unique experience.

Amazon says it has worked with contemporary artist Samuel Stubblefield to create these clever canvases and it’s been confirmed that the new feature is coming to the firm’s Fire TV Omni QLED Series TVs in areas of the world including the US and UK.

If you already own an Omni telly and fancy some artwork on the big screen you just need to make sure that you have the latest software installed on the device. Once everything is upgraded, you can then simply ask Alexa to “go to Ambient gallery” and click on the Dynamic Art background tile to enable it.
