Parsons was even mentored by Ware, a fellow linebacker, during his first year years in the league. While Parsons is determined to win a championship for the Cowboys, he also wants to become one of the best in his own right. That means entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the future, but that's not his only goal. "When you talk about great careers, [when] you talk about the Hall of Fame, like I don't think I just want to make the Hall of Fame. I just want to be known as one of the greatest Hall of Famers," Parsons told ESPN. "There's categories to everything. There's good. There's great and there's like, perfect. When you talk about me, I don't want to just be mentioned in the Hall of Fame. Yeah, that's a great accolade, but I want to be one of the greatest in the Hall of Fame." With no championship to his name during his relatively young NFL career, Parsons knows that in order to be named in the same breath as the game's greatest, that needs to change.
