What could be the world’s heaviest jackfruit, weighing as much as a teenager, has been discovered in India.
Tipping the scales at a staggering 8.2st, the giant, prickly fruit far outweighs the current Guinness World Records holder.
That specimen, grown on a farm in India, came in at 6.7st.
The new world record contender was reportedly bought for the equivalent of about £6 at a market in a suburb of Kolkata.
