Older sister Gigi, 28, later confirmed that Bella had 'just finished a long and intensive treatment for Lyme disease', saying she was 'excited' for her comeback. In 2012, both Bella and her brother Anwar, along with their mother Yolanda, were diagnosed with Lyme disease, a bacterial infection that is often spread to humans by infected ticks. The condition can cause symptoms such as joint and muscle pain, headaches, tiredness, and loss of energy. In a new social media post, catwalk favourite Bella shared a series of photos from her treatment, as well as copies of medical documents from over the years.
