One stunned guest filmed the dozens of towels that tourists had flung across loungers to mark their territory for the day. Julie-Anne Alexander said she was left struggling to find a spot when she headed down to the pool in the morning. The holidaymaker became fed up while searching for a place to unwind, as people had dumped their towels on almost all of them. But she eventually managed to find the last free bed that was left after trawling through the endless rows of claimed sun loungers. However, the small business owner was left baffled when she noticed there was "only a handful of people actually using them." Julie-Anne claimed that hundreds of guests had somehow crept down before it opened to claim a prime poolside position. As the gates to the pool are locked overnight, she was left stumped as to how all the loungers had been claimed so early in the morning. In a video posted on TikTok, she showed how tourists had laid claim to every row of sun loungers with the classic towel trick. But there were only two people actually swimming - and hardly anyone was sunbathing on the beds.
