Ryan Reynolds message to Tom Brady after Birmingham City investment sums him up

The Wrexham co-chairman can boast significant experience of the sport after helping the club to promotion to the EFL but still made a typically humble admission

Wrexham co-chairman Ryan Reynolds has issued a warm welcome to Tom Brady after the NFL legend became a part-owner of Birmingham City.

The Hollywood star has owned the North Wales outfit since 2020 and has helped to transform the club’s fortunes in that time, alongside fellow A-Lister Rob McElhenney. The famous pair have managed to combine their star power with a genuine hands-on approach to bring the team to a worldwide audience.

The TV series “Welcome to Wrexham” has won the Red Dragons a cult following across various continents and their National League championship triumph last term was the realisation of a dream that stretched back some 15 years. In short, the actor duo have shown themselves to be effective and committed custodians at the Racecourse Ground.

Even so, Hollywood megastar Reynolds remained humble as he heralded the arrival of seven-time Super Bowl victor Brady as a stakeholder at St Andrew’s. The iconic retired quarterback is best associated with the New England Patriots, where he won six Super Bowls during a golden era, but the Second City club will now become his new passion project.
