It must have been heartbreaking for the young actress Georgie Grier to perform her one-woman play Sunsets to just a single person at the Edinburgh Fringe. Equally heartbreaking is that it serves as a kind of metaphor for Georgie’s generation and indeed the one behind it – and is at least a partial reason for the parlous state of our economy.
Various celebs sent out messages of support after Georgie posted her rather sweet video in which she admitted that the stalls weren’t exactly packed – and the good news, if you believe in unicorn tears and flopsy bunnies, is that her next show almost sold out.
I genuinely wish her luck – she seems a rather charming lass – but the odds are not
