We have reached a point in the summer where I’m starting to relate to Miss Hannigan. I’m not saying it’s OK to use child labour to run a New York City orphanage but I am saying that after spending all day listening to a clatter of children complaining I may have looked into making bathtub gin. Unfortunately I have no clue where to find juniper berries in Dublin.
There is a place I go, when the going gets tough and my patience is wearing especially thin. It’s a magical spot where you can bring kids to be entertained for free, six days a week, rain or shine. We’re lucky enough to live within walking distance but you’ll find one of these heavenly spaces in most
