The London trio – made up of Tulisa Contosavlos, cousin Dappy and childhood friend Fazer, are back with new album Timeless and shows across the UK, with another major tour planned for next year. Going back on tour is not without its anxieties, but when it comes to the worrying trend of performers being injured by objects from the crowd, Tulisa has already been through that and come out the other side. 'I got licked in the face with an iPhone,' she points out, saying it happened one of the first times she ever wore sunglasses on stage, having previously preferred to remain bare-faced. 'I put these sunglasses on for one section of the tour, and for the first time ever I got lobbed by a phone in the face. 'And the sunglasses protected me. Otherwise I would have had a Bebe Rexha situation, it would have given me a black eye,' she tells Metro.co.uk. They're always very hesitant and almost afraid to throw their phones on stage.' She adds that they now often do a section of their shows where security may collect phones from fans at the front of the stage to give to her, Dappy and Fazer, but warns: 'If you throw them, you're not getting them back!'
