Paul split with coach BJ Flores after his loss to Tommy Fury in February and opted to re-partner with former world champion Mosley for his fight against Diaz
Jake Paul decided to switch up his coaching staff and re-partner with old coach Shane Mosley after his defeat to Tommy Fury.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul suffered his first professional defeat at the hands of Love Island star Fury when they fought in Saudi Arabia earlier this year. A knockdown in the final round wasn’t enough to earn Paul the win as he was beaten by split decision on the night, but he looks to bounce back to winning ways against UFC legend Nate Diaz this Saturday.
Former world champion Mosley trained Paul for his professional debut against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2020, but the pair split after that fight because of Mosley’s busy schedule. They are now working with each other again ahead of Paul’s fight against Diaz and the YouTube spoke highly of Mosley’s coaching skills.
The Problem Child’ Jake Paul and UFC icon Nate Diaz will finally meet on August 5 in a highly anticipated grudge match which will be shown live on DAZN PPV.
